Introduction

Big Bang Unico Orange Ceramic
Big Bang Unico is and will always be Hublot’s point of reference, its business card. It is the collection that is halfway between the most accessible collections and the most exclusive models, continuing to be a tireless laboratory of materials.
Big Bang Unico Orange Ceramic continues the path inaugurated with the red, blue, yellow, gray or green models. The ceramic case of the Big Bang Unico offers a particular shine and the orange shade is one of the most successful for us.
The mechanics are excellent: the Unico caliber is a 4 Hz flyback chronograph with 72 hours of autonomy when fully charged, housed in a full-bodied case measuring 42 mm in diameter and 14.5 mm thick, aided by the lightness of the ceramic and the comfort of the rubber strap. Made in 250 examples, it has a list price of 30,800 euros.
Square Bang Unico Magic Gold
There are two key words in the title that clearly indicate what it is about; the Square Bang speaker debuted successfully even though we felt it wouldn’t be fully received by the public. We were wrong. Of the two models presented by Hublot we have in this photo the richer and more interesting version: the one equipped with the upper part of the case in Magic Gold, the scratch-resistant alloy patented by Hublot.
It is a significant innovation for the watch which has essentially evolved the multi-layer case with screws of the Big Bang into a square key and originally debuted in titanium alloy. It has the same caliber as the Big Bang Orange Ceramic but exhibits a completely different personality. the list price of this version is 44,500 Euros.
Spirit of Big Bang Sang Bleu Sapphire
The liaison between Hublot and the Sang Bleu studio continues, founded by the Swiss tattoo artist and artist Maxime Plescia-Büchi, and began in 2016. The collaboration has given life to the brand’s most provocative watches and the saga continues with Spirit of Big Bang Sang Bleu, with sapphire surfaces that extend across the entire case and create a singular play of refraction and transparency in which some contrasting elements are in titanium and it is easy to imagine which ones: the screws, the crown, the chrono buttons.
The movement comes from the group’s stable, because the HUB 4700 caliber is a 5 Hertz movement derived from El Primero which ensures 50 hours of autonomy on a full charge. With case dimensions of 42.00mm wide and 15.70mm thick, Spirit of Big Bang Sang Bleu Sapphire has a hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale. Limited to 100 examples, it has a list price of 149,000 euros.
Big Bang Unico Pink Sapphire
Sapphire is always the protagonist of a triptych of models involving three collections, this time based on the popular Big Bang case, still in size 42 mm. It joins the other color variations that all focus on extreme transparency and shiny surfaces that offer resistance as well as lightness.
The transparency continues with the quick release strap featuring a simple snap deployment clasp with safety buttons. Hublot Big Bang Unico Pink Sapphire features the UNICO 2 caliber of the other Big Bangs, including the ceramic models whose dimensions it preserves. The watch is produced in a limited edition of just one hundred pieces, each sold at the price of 126,000 Euros.
MP-11 Power Reserve 14 Days Water Blue Sapphire
Its technical caliber places it in the haute horlogerie range, several steps higher than a Big Bang, as the name suggests. The version in the photo is the blue sapphire interpretation of the Hublot MP-11 Power Reserve 14 Days model, equipped with the spectacular mechanical movement with seven barrels in series capable of pushing the autonomy up to two weeks.
We are in a completely different territory, that of a caliber light years away from an industrial movement, the result of a specific project that required a helical screw gear to connect the seven barrels to the movement (it is visible between nine and ten o’clock). .
