September seems to be a particularly popular month for watch news. Press releases from various manufacturers land in my inbox almost every day. The Christmas business is obviously just around the corner. Since I can’t reproduce all the watch news here, here is a small selection of… let’s say… most striking watches 🙂 Short and sweet with the most important information, garnished with one or two “good to know” – aka fun facts 🙂

Breitling Replica is doing the retro pilot watch thing. And as so often lately: Absolutely successful design – everyone has to decide for themselves whether the prices are justified…

RADO CAPTAIN COOK – 37 & 42MM
That’s rare: a press release without unnecessary “waffle” and with real information content that you can quote with a clear conscience. Instead of sober data, here is the original information:
Good to know: Captain James Cook was a famous English sailor and explorer who lived in the 18th century (Wikipedia). Rado named this model series after him in the 1960s. And one more thing: It is typical for Rado watches (but not all of them as far as I know) that the anchor of the logo rotates when it moves 🙂
OMEGA SEAMASTER DIVER 300M – JAMES BOND
James Bond is getting a new “signature watch” to mark the 50th anniversary of the film series. The new film “No Time to Die” will be released in 2020. And this is what the somewhat “restless” and limited Bond watch looks like:
